Soft Sculpture

a collection of objects some of which could be described as garments inasmuch as they relate in scale and material to humanity; interactive sculptures and reversible pompoms made entirely from post-consumer fast-fashion. Their purpose is to comment on our relationship to clothes; the global textile industry; types of recycling and the use of human, material and energy resources. Embodied in the work are emotional, physical and practical responses to the overwhelming scale of our waste.
